		<description>Nice tips. I like that you said resist the urge to show quick result and work on building trust. I think that is incredibly hard for new ambitious managers. This is such a tough transition that I think organizations really don&#039;t prepare people for or guide them through well enough.</description>

		<description>The one thing I can&#039;t stress enough is... resist the temptation to become a micromanager. Just because a subordinate submits work to you that you think you can do better... resist redoing it your way. Instead, let them do it their way and deal with it if it accomplishes your goal.</description>
